Average age of PC diagnosis is 67; average diagnosis is low-risk. Viewpoint for consideration...

We know that 0 of the 28,170 men who die of PC this year have low-risk PC.

We know that 10-times that number have been diagnosed with PC this year, and most are low-risk PC.

We know that nearly 2,000-times that number probably represents the number of men living in the US with diagnosed+undiagnosed PC this year (based on autopsy studies showing % males with PC is approximately equal to the decade of their age).

We know that for men with low-risk PC, the notion that immediate aggressive treatment "saved my life" (analogous to "thank God...") is probably not true (read the PIVOT study, or do you think that study was voodoo?).

Ok, BobCape.  You probably did not intend to imply that a un-founded fear of the unknown and unlikely (while disregarding evidence based on the natural history & epidemiology of low-risk PC) should be a treatment decision-making criteria for men with low-risk PC, but it seemed like it when I first read that comment.  I may have assumed too much; sorry if I jumped the gun.
