FoxRun, thanks for the post - I too work a "normal" day and try not to spend all day on line, but it's pretty hard not to this early into learning I have PCa. When/if you have time I would like as much detail as you're willing to share; feel free to e-mail me if you're more comfortable with that as opposed to posting.
Things like where you had your treatment done and by whom, and how the procedures were done and your side-effects. Sorry for the "50-questions approach" but as I'm sure all of you out here know that's part of the process and most likely my current stage in all of this!!!!

High blood pressure and insomia when DXed
Started HT April 30 Bicalutamide and the 12 months on Lupron - insomina and flashing
June 16 1st HDR Brachy implants and markers for Ex beam RT - day surgery from 1230-213 dose 950 cGy per fraction, dose prescribed at prostate capsule radtiation source Ir-192, with treatment prescribed based on a CT planning technique. - work done at Moncton, NB Hospital by Dr. Filice- the usual urnination SEs
June 22 - July 29 5 week of RT for pelvic regional nodes, 4 field technique, dose 4500 cGy in 25 frasctions, 18 MV photons - no apparent symptons or loss of work*worked from home)
July 21 2nd HDR Brachy implants - the usual SEs
Over all the HT was my biggest challenge - no fun being at chemical castration levels. My sleep problems were relieved by 1/2 of 7.5mg of Ran-Zopiclone
