Woo Hoo! I just returned from my 4 month appointment post medication of the phase II Avastin/Lupron/Casodex trial @ Johns Hopkins.

PSA results: <0.1 reported as "undetectable"

User duke68 is on the same trial and I always look forward to his posts.

Thanks for the results, I'm wondering if the same results could have happened with just the ADT2 only.
Hope the trial determines how much of the change was from Avastin. Anyway, congrats on the improvement.

P.S. later:
Avastin patent expires in 2019 apparently. Is an injection.

Could be. The control arm had ADT2 only. I guess we'll find out when the results of the trial are publshed.

The Avastin was an 30 minute infusion every three weeks for 6 months. Thank God I didn't have to pay for it.

btw: the previous trials of Avastin in late stage PCa did not meet endpoint.
