Hey, I just wanted to pass along an iPhone app that I downloaded to my cell phone called "gymlaps". It's basically nothing more than a digital stopwatch, but it allows you to specify an interval (5 seconds, 10 seconds, etc.). It runs continuously like a stopwatch, but beeps at the conclusion of each interval, letting you know that the interval has elapsed. I find it helpful - unlike the timer that comes with the iPhone, because there is an audible beep, there is no need to keep an eye on the the screen to know when you've completed your 5, 10, second, etc. interval. It also counts each interval as a lap, so you can keep track of the total number of kegels you've done by simply dividing the total laps by 2 (one lap is a contraction, one is a relaxation).
You can also program your phone to vibrate, rather than make and audible beep. In addition to using during at home, I find it useful when I'm out of this house, like riding in a car, etc, as well. I just plug in my headphone and listen for the beeps. The app costs $4.99, which is a little expensive for an app - there may be a cheaper alternative.
Anyway, just thought I'd pass along in case you were looking for an easier way to keep track of the number of kegels you are doing.
