The Prolia / Xgeva being the same drug from the same company has me a bit perplexed. The SEs listed are different as well.
My uro is saying Prolia and Lupron, as my bone density scan was nothing to be pleased with. I haven't seen the written report yet, but in talking to the nurse, she implied that it was supposed to have been much better given my age and general condition. The uro was apparently very unpleasantly surprised.
Guess I didn't drink enough milk as a child, but I was lactose intolerant by the time I got to university.
And the "funny" thing about it is that I asked for the scan. The docs (uro, GP, and medical oncologist) had all talked as if it would be a waste of money, but went along to humor me, I guess. At least this time, a scan was valuable.
