Hi All,
It has been 2 1/2 years since my LPR surgery. My PSA is .05,and I am fully functional. I take 1/2 a Cialis 20 (Tadacip) twice a week. I wish all on this site could have results as good as mine have been so far. Thank you all for your support when I needed it most.

It is worth pointing out to the new and the nervous around here that this sort of result is typical. Those of us who are not so successful in the first treatment or two are overrepresented in this forum and we represent a very small percentage of men who are treated for PC.

Thank you all for the well wishes. I am sure that many, like myself, feel some guilt that we have done so well while others are suffering. Prayers for those still recovering.
I wonder if it would be a good idea to encourage men to come back with their successful results and include their surgeon's name and their hospital's name. The most difficult part of my decision was finding the best surgeon.

Well said Rick. I'm among those blessed with a good outcome.

I worked with a local surgeon who had plenty of experience. My 'one year' follow-up (more like 14 months) was yesterday . Next visit is 6 months. Stats like upper 90s percentile for 10 years, plus ongoing recovery from side effects, are starting to result in a return to normal outlook on life.

Not to take anything from those here who have much tougher battles, but people need to know our outcome is more common than not.

Prayers are certainly made for those who have the more difficult journey.

Rick, thanks for sharing the good news. WE all need it to keep going. I hope to get good news next week when I get my 44 months PSA result.
