Fortunately my Libido at 65 is still like when I was 30 and hopefully it will not change after my RP Surgery and recovery period. Here is my question: After my RP Surgery will I be able to ejaculate normally or will I only have "Dry Orgasms"?? I also read somewhere that I might pee when having an orgasm??, is that true??,,,Kinda a bummer if true sad sad Is this a long term, permanent effect or will is subside with time. The "Old Mind " still gets horny as hell so I'm hoping the body will keep up, LOL. yeah yeah yeah

You will have dry orgasm, you will not ejaculate semen, but you may possibly leak/urinate a bit when you orgasm, that all depends on your personal recovery. Some men return to pre-surgery status and others don't

Yeah....even with seeds there is little to no ejaculate. That is not a huge problem when somehow, orgasm itself is more intense.

but often times more intense for some weird reason.

I would say libido is lower because of stress and depression.

dry, of course, except for some pre-semen from a working cowpen's gland that was left in place

but the big "O", so much longer lasting and intense, for me, honestly better than ever was pre-PC days

trading off the "wet" for the "intense" was worth it to me, and no mess, ever

Purg is correct. Orgasms are fantastic. Urination during orgasm has not been a problem for me. Just urinate before having sex.
My libido is still strong also. Loving it. Having a great wife who will do anything for you really helps. You may have some slight pain in the area between your anus and testicles after orgasm but that will go away, mine did. Are you having nerve sparing surgery?
I can honestly say sex for me is just as great as pre op. I never thought it would be. I remember being in bed with my wife the night before the surgery and thinking this is my last chance to enjoy sex. I was too upset to even try. But all worked out great and I hope it does for you too.

Well for me woody is ok, it does take more effort, but just a vague orgasm.. cry

Its been a touch over a year..Not sure why there isn't much of one but now because boner is good but I am thinking it's gone forever.

But yea what everyone else says, its dry exceot for occasionally minor leakage...

     Yes its true. what everybody else is saying.You will have dry orgasms if your like everyone else,but for me, I tryed to get back in  the game to quick.Have some patients and concentrate on healing first.

Be patient with your return to normal sexual function. Many guys, myself included, take over a year for the nerves to heal enough to sustain a good woody. Daily Cialas helps for sure. The better the woody the less urine leakage. Like others say its dry, dry, dry. Unfortunately, my libido has also been lowered too.

I am now 1 1/2 yrs since my RP and been using trimix now for almost 1 year which works great.....dry orgasms, but certainly more intense and longer, I feel it all over my body and it feels really good.

I am now getting some natural action going on, I really feel that trimix rehab is really important, the sooner the better...

My Libido is as strong as it ever has been since I have gotten my confidence back from using trimix, I can please even better than before with a more long lasting woody, wow, about 1 1/2 hrs.......it's great...:-)

The trick is to learn the technical terms for all the side-effects and practice your British accent. That way if you pee when you come you can say "Sorry my dear, spot of climacturea -- bloody nuisance, that" while you change the sheets. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be such a term for "dry orgasm" (which you will almost certainly have) so I will invent one. We can call it "physiological disonanism."

One thing to remember is that the term "use it or lose it" really, really applies to your sex life after RP. Most men have at least some ED after RP and it can take anywhere from 6 months to four years to get back where you were. During that time you have to work to stay in the game so your parts don't shrivel up from disuse. Don't be shy in asking your urologist for pills, pumps, injectables -- whatever you need to keep your hydraulics in shape while the nerves recover.

As for post-RP orgasms, put me down for less-intense but longer lasting. I tend to think "Oh, is that all there is?" but then I realize that it's not over. By the time I am finished with it the total is fairly satisfying but I do miss the big WHAM I used to get.

After surgery the word is "No muss , no fuss."
You can do it anywhere without have to withdraw. That can be a plus.


That said, given the choice, I'd go back to the old days in a heartbeat.

What is an erection ? Let along a dry orgasm or even a wet one !
