Interesting use of nanoparticles and radioactive gold.
There are nanoparticles containing cell poisons that reach cancer cells preferentially, e.g. BIND-014 and CRLX-101.
There are also nanoparticles containing other treatments to the cancer cell, e.g. magnetic hyperthermia with iron or monoclonal antibodies . Hope some of these arrive soon.
