It tastes so good, simple as that.
I must agree James. I thoroughly enjoy a large thick steak cooked to perfection ----- no sauces nor condiments to change the taste. A roast pork or lamb dinner every Sunday is a delight in my home.
Now is consuming red meat detrimental to your health ----- perhaps excessive consumption may be.
If you have to supplement your diet with pills to make up for vitamin deficiencies ( B12, iron etc), then your diet is neither natural nor normal. When you have to cover your meat free meals in condiments and sauces to make it palatable, your diet is not natural.
The improvement in the physical size and strength of people in today's developed countries is attributed to the ready availability of red meat in modern times. If you doubt this look up statistics regarding the increase in physical stature of people such as the Japanese and Koreans.
Naw, rather than spend my life agonising about
what's on my plate, consuming stuff I abhor the taste of, I'm going to thoroughly enjoy the journey, rather than at the end say, "well I was there for quite a while but I was so obsessive about
stuff, the journey wasn't that great".
Now what's for dinner!!
