I had an AdVance sling installed 20 months ago and love it. For the first time since the surgery I had a bladder infection. My GP said it was not uncommon for sling patients to have bladder infections since they occasionally do not empty out completely and the urine can collect.
I had not heard of this. Have you?
Do any of you with slings have more than your fair share of bladder infections?
After voiding, I poke and prod my bits to make sure I am completely empty and usually manage to squeeze out about
5-10 ml. Do you go through the same gyrations?

As a humorous corollary, is it true that in 12 states I can be arrested for performing a sex act in a public restroom if anyone sees me pushing on my perineum to dump out my urethra?
