It's been 3 months since my brachytherapy procedure, only complication is frequent urination. No ED or other pain. Yesterday I went in to find out my PSA, dropped to 1.2 from 5.5, YES! It's going the right direction. The Dr. is looking to see in drop in half with my next test in 6 months. I'd be happy with any drop. Thank you all for posting your procedures, comments and suggestions on this site. It helped me make the right choice for me, and I will not be looking back to see if it was the right choice.

Downward - I like that direction. Congratulations.
Here's hoping it stays down.
All the best,

Hi Mike - first and foremost CONGRATS on the new PSA reading!!!!!!!
Your numbers and mine are remarkably similar; I had my Brachy on September 21st and my 3-month PSA is due on December 20th - so am biding time, keeping up with my exercise regiment and waiting - and hoping for results like yours!
My best wishes to you for continued success in giving your beast an *** Kicking!

Looks like Friday 13th turned out to be a good omen for you.
Great to hear you are doing well. Are you taking Flomax for the frequency? The urinary symptoms should start to decrease now you are past the 3 month mark, hoping you see a good improvement over the next 3 months and another great PSA result at your 6 month mark.
Wishing you all the best.
Go celebrate!
Susan
