Riggy,
Decaf tea is not much different from regular for incontinence. It is the acid that irritates the bladder. Mt PT nurse suggested that caffine had some impact, but much less than we would want to believe.
My triggers were orange juice, coffee, and anything carbonated - water, beer, cokes (all varieties of soda), didn't matter. I'm not a tea drinker.
I was on pants & pads for five months, and still deal with one to three pads a day at three years out, so I'd say you are doing very well.
As to time of day, I leaked the worst when I first got up, then less through the day. Then I bumped up the kegels, which tired the muscles out (per the PT nurse), and started leaking badly in the evening. I rebalanced my walking and kegels into three short sessions every day instead of one long one, and brought the kegel count back down. That helped a lot.
