Possible anti-cancer benefits of dandelion tea

An article in July 20, 2012 Windsor Star discusses a study to identify the benefits of dandelion root extract. The study has been ongoing for two years and states that a team of biochemists used dandelion root extract root to treat a very aggressive and drug resistant type of blood cancer cell known as chronic monocytic myeloid leukemia to essentially commit suicide. Researchers then discovered that repeated treatment with low dose dandelion root extract was effective in killing mist of the cancerous cells. Alright, I know it didn't mention pc, but, at least now I can look out at my lawn and envision a potential cure. I wonder if I'll need a medical dandelion endorsement.

Homemade dandelion wine is fantastic! Two important rules govern it, however.

Number 1. Don't make it from dandelions sprayed with weed killer.

Number 2. Don't even think about driving a car after drinking a glass of the homemade stuff.
