I used Trimix for about
6 months prior to my Da Vinci surgery. I loved the stuff. No pain. It was so good I'd even use it to *********. 5 weeks after surgery my ED urologist and I decided it was time to try it again. We started with a fresh bottle. The needles a standard insulin syringes just like I used before.
Now it hurts. The needle stops at the cavernous tissue and doesn't go any farther. I have to try and jab it in several times before I feel the familiar "pop" into the cavernous tissue. I think it might have something to do with the fact that before, there was some reaction from the nerves and I was slightly engorged. Now, since the nerves were not preserved my penis is pretty thin while I hold it to do the injection.
I am willing to try an auto-injector or pretty much anything you suggest that makes sense. My Urologist doesn't want me trying 31 gauge needles because they break.

Hello Jgourd,
One thing that comes to mind is to try combining the Trimix injection with a bit of a vacuum erection device prelude. Lots of guys here do that. It requires that you have a VED but you ought to have one anyway.
Here's what you do: use the VED first to get that slight plumpness that you recall from before. Then inject. That will give the needle something to press against as it goes through the rubbery wall of the corpus cavernosa and will stretch it slightly so it is thinner. Don't pump past the chubby stage as you want most of the blood entering your organ to be arterial (oxygenated) blood. Trimix pulls in arterial blood only. The VED pulls a 50/50 mix.
Your VED will probably come with several compression rings. You don't need the ring for this procedure but using a loose ring can sometimes give better results or allow a lower Trimix dose.
Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Look at this thread to see if there's anything you can do different to maximize the effect and minimize the ache.
