At 12:15 am Saturday morning Jerry finally found peace. His passing was peaceful and pain free. He fought so bravely and never lost hope right up to the last day. He was so tired. My heart is broken and we miss him so much.

So sorry to read this.
As time goes by you will not miss him any less, but you will get better at coping with your loss.

So, so sad about your loss. Your husband has indeed found peace. It must bring you some comfort, that he did not suffer despite having such a terrible disease. He obviously was not a lone fighter, but had you on his side. I hope you also find peace as you begin a new phase in life, I am sure he would want that for you, as well. Prayers going your way overseas for you and your beloved husband Jerry.

Just taking a moment away from work and read of your loss. Be assured of my prayers for you today. I am sure that Jerry was ever so appreciative of your support and care during his battle. His battle is over!
My wife and I will remember you and others who faithfully give loving care to men who can no longer fight the battle alone. We count you as special, we are thankful for you and ask God to be near during this time. May you find strength for this part of the journey. Blessings from Texas.

I never met your husband, or you. We would not know one another if we met on the street. But he must have been quite a man to have a wife who writes of his passing with so much grace, and so many friends.

I doubt that it will help, but out here on the Internet where I hang out and joke with my friends, I have shed an anonymous tear for a good man who I never met.
