Looks like AS is working out so far for you. My hubby's URO recommended it to him but he is too nervous so he is going to have brachytherapy in April.

Thanks Iggy, this gives me hope, I was Dx in August and defaulted to AS, first PSA after Dx was a month ago and was lower than when Dx.
Please keep us posted.

Purgatory, a lady cyber-friend mentioned that she read that oregano oil helped fight off prostate cancer. Her husband started taking it about
the same time as me and she reported his PSA dropped. Her husband underwent SonaBlate therapy several years ago. There is some speculation that oregano works by impeding fungus.
I take NOW oregano oil. Formula: 181mg oregano oil, 17.6mg ginger oil, and 19.3mg fennel oil.
I also take many other herbs, vitamins, and supplements. I take so much stuff, there's no way I could tell what's helping or not.

Iggy, that's great news.
Re.: oregano... I just started it (oil of oregano) for indigestion/ gerd. Doc had me on Protonix for the last 7 years and I just don't like the idea of a pill the rest of my life that could lead to osteoporosis. Felt there had to be another more healthy answer. Found out OoO was rumored to help. So far I haven't had a Protonix in 2 weeks. Have you noticed any other benefits since beginning on it?

Great news Iggy. It's great to see AS success stories as it will encourage others to at least look more closely at this option.

Iggy, thanks for the update. It is very encouraging to me. I hope we can delay treatment a very long time.
Be well...
