2 year anniversary

Today is the 2nd anniversary of my surgery and I've been feeling good. PSA is zero, incontinence isn't an issue I've come to terms with my ED. I'm hitting the pool 4 times a week and playing hockey twice a week and finally starting to make progress on the weight I gained post surgery.

It took about 20 months for me to recover emotionally from the cancer. I've had my ups and downs with depression over that time. It may come back again at some point but over the past 4 months I've felt like my old self again (more or less).

As a bonus we're heading to the Virgin Islands this weekend for 10 days of sailing.

CONGRATS, and thanks for sharing the good news - here's to being a big "Zero" the rest of your life! Enjoy the VI's while you're there.

Congratulations, my friend, that's a great 2 year report.

I am a sailor myself, with a nice boat, so anytime you can go sailing is a great time in my book. my beloved boat has already been winterized and covered for the season. dreaming about next spring.

David, I don't have much of a sailing experience other than on small boats but I'm definitely looking forward to this trip. My wife's sister and her husband sold their business, retired and bought a 40' catamaran last year. They spend the winter sailing around the Caribbean and the summers at their cottage. I don't think we'll get as much time exploring the islands as I'd like, but I can't complain.

Sounds fabulous to me. Enjoy and try to enjoy each moment with temporary amnesia for the last few months.
