Finally decided it was time to get a peak and see how my treatment (Proton Beam therapy @ MDA in Houston) was or wasn't working so I caught a flight down to see Dr. Lee. Been busy just forgetting about
things (medical) for awhile and had skipped my 3 mo check up since it seemed that most 3 mo results can be rather inconclusive anyway (up some, down some or level?). Anyway, PSA is down to 2.1 (from 6.8) so that is progress and good at that, I guess.
So far, still very happy with my treatment choice, no urinary SEs, no bowel SEs, no ED SE and a 69% reduction in PSA at 6 months. If recently dxed with PC, you should include this treatment option in your research. Take care and know that you and your loved ones are all in my prayers.

Great news. I struggled deciding between Proton and Robotic Surgery for weeks.
Radiation (possibly proton) will be my 2nd stab at this beast, if needed.

Great news on the lower PSA. Keep it going down.
All the best,

Our stories are similar. Sounds like we are on the right track. Merry Christmas and keep up with the good numbers.
