Four half years ago Robotic surgery at Mayo Gleason 4+3 PSA 5.6, a year ago PSA .395 Radiation treatment at Mayo. This past May( 5 mo post radiation PSA .395, this Sept, PSA .55. Scheduled another PSA January 2013, there are conversations with the Urologist about HS when PSA is at 4.0, his statement was "we used our two big guns, now we may have to start trying other things". Is there other opinions out there, with this type of conversations at this highly regarded facility, I imagine any one can " guess" and I find the urologist comment a bit discouraging.

You need to start talking to a medical oncologist or at least get a second opinion. There are drug therapies for you. You've got plenty of options at this point. The next PSA test will tell you how aggressive you should be.

I think the doc's statement should have been, "... we've used two OF our big guns."

Thank you for your review and reply. I am set up for a full laboratory tests on January 8th. Based on those results i will take next steps but will involve my Ongologist.
