I use organic
castile soap for washing, shampooing and shaving. I get a thick lather up for shaving. If you look at the ingredients of your soap,
shampoo and shaving cream, there’s lots of stuff in it. Cancer causing? perhaps, but the cost of the bar of soap (in
place of soap, shaving cream, shampoo & conditioner) is cost effective and
safe.
I use all
sorts of organic food. Milk, flour,
maple syrup, etc. I purchase
natural/organic products when available and feasible. I avoid when possible manmade chemicals, hormones,
and steroids. I am reading labels. I built a large above ground organic garden
in my backyard, and this summer will be my second crop. I am retired and make dinner for the wife and me
every night. Tonight is homemade navy
bean soup. Yesterday was turkey
meatloaf, baked sweet potatoes, and homemade creamed spinach. Dessert was organic homemade co-co brownies. She raves about most meals, but I have had
failed experiments. Juice carrots about once a week. Homemade tomato sauce in summer.
Now I am not
that absurd, because when McDonalds has the McRib back, so am I. I eat at the diner, fast food occasional,
chain restaurants, Chinese food, etc.
Daughter bought me an organic cookbook for Xmas. Already tried 4 recipes, 3 stunk, one was
good.
Yes I
have changed my diet.
