what d you guys think about the info on eating eggs and pc ?

I was eating a dozen or so eggs a week ( whites only ) for protein..now there are al these studies saying it can cause pc ?? Anyone have any VALID info

just remember the saying, "beware of geeks bearing studies." or something like that.

I don't put much stock into studies like that. Far too often there is a flaw in the numbers or another study that contradicts the first study.

and once you've got PC, what does it mater anyway?

Yea I hear ya but two things:

1) I dont have pc

2) there are many different sources saying the same thing..including the Mayo Clinic etc so....

From whaT I have read and understand it is the yolks that are the issue, not the whites. I only eat egg whites and egg beaters.

I would continue to eat what you are eating, and ignore this "study". Studies like this can be made to prove any point its promoter wants it to show.

Yea I only eat the whites too....I have a buddy that eats 3 dozen a week ! Whites only hard boiled...he"s a muscle head
