Thermatrx treatment

I recently went through a biopsy and came up negative (thankfully) but the doctor is suggesting I have Thermatrx treatment as problems still persist. I am concerned about this procedure as the biopsy made me very nervous however was not too bad after all was said and done. Can anyone clue me in on this procedure and tell me about heir experiences, again I find myself being very nervous about this procedure, I would appreciate any input. thanks

Thanks for your reply and I understand what you are saying. However if I see people that are going for biopsies or repeat biopsies how is that so much different then me, they do not know they have PC? My PSA tripled in the past year while I have been on avodart, while this may not mean much since I have not been diagnosed with PC, having a procedure such as Thermatrx is concerning to ME! I don't enjoy being violated from the front end or back end which I have had both done in the last year. I m just looking for some input on this procedure and what I might expect.

Not certain, but there are some schools of thought about cancers being "heat sensitive." Hyperthermia is the coined treatment name. It's apparently been in practice for some time, but came into greater notoriety/ focus when Lance Armstrong was treated for his testicular cancer many years ago. Hypertherapy was apparently part of his cancer regimen.
