Traveling with Trimix

I have a small wallet sized case I carry with me that will hold several syringes, an ice pack and the bottle of Trimix. You can also preload the syringes and take just them but I suggest you keep a copy of your prescription just in case TSA asks about them. I took 3  preloaded syringes on a cruise last year and TSA didn't say a word about them in my carry on luggage.

I stuck mine in a suitcase and wrapped it in an ice bag. I've never taken it inside the plane with me, but I've taken allergy solution which is the same size. Had my prescription with me but it didn't matter, the TSA waved me right through. I think it's small enough that they don't care.

our granddaughter is a diabetic. the last time she came over, daddy had a couple of bottles of insulin and about 100 syringes and he didn't remove them from his carry on. tsa never said a word.
while harold was doing chemo for his lymphoma he had about a dozen prefilled large syringes of a blood thinner in his carry on and tsa didn't say a word.
the last time we traveled i took a large bottle of prescription cough syrup. i was asked to take it out and open it for the tsa. the guy swabbed the edge of the bottle, did something with the swab, and then waved me through.
in my experience, meds in a carry on don't seem to be a problem when traveling.

I traveled with Trimix from the West Coast to the East Coast last October and didn't have a problem with TSA. I packed the Trimix vial in a little case meant for carrying insulin along with a couple of small frozen gel packs. I packed the syringes in checked luggage (needed a lot of them since I was going to be in the East for a while). At the conveyor belt, I mentioned to a TSA agent that I was carrying refrigerated medicine and she told me to put it in the bin along with my bag of liquids. It went through the scanner with no problem. I was worried about how much hassle I'd get but I got none at all.
