    Today is the day I get to learn how a needle is going to be my new BFF.

    Sounds sort of scary though. I have learned a lot here. When I tried to set up my first shot, the lady I talked to said they would do it at my next DR appt.

That is next Weds at 4:00 pm.  I don't want to go home that late in the day and have any problems. I will try to change that today.

   I remember watching how a baby is born but this sounds much more scarier.

   Now where did I put those smelling salts. shocked

Would you believe SHE is our fertility specialist/consultant!? lol She's as sweet as can be and happens to be hotter in person. And is as highly recommended as they come.

She actually said to my wife and me, "You should definitely bank sperm now if you have designs on more kids in the future. (Roll of her eyes.) What I would have to do to your husband's testicles if you chose to have more children would be monumentally painful and expensive compared to what he would need to do in a comfortable, secluded room perhaps three to four times prior to having his prostatectomy." as she smiled slyly. She's a good one. We both really dug her. I don't need to tell you that the testicles she was telling my wife about recoiled in horror at the scenario she described. :)

wish I had someone give me that advice. Actually, wish I had someone really help me think about it. Our urologist mentioned it but my wife answered for me.

Watched the video, not bad.

But, like I said, from what I learned on here.

I told her my next appointment was at 4:00 and I would like to get that changed to an earlier time.  Than she said,  "That's right, we wouldn't want you ending up in the emergency room at midnight"

Wow, real encouraging words.  HA  HA!

I think a few here have been on the way to ER while experimenting with trimix because of a dose that is too strong. Mention of the ER is common throughout this entire PCa process. When they took my cath out in NYC they told me that if I had voiding issues that day I should go to ER if it got bad. Got me real worked up.

I was Tod by my compoundind pharmacist that neosinephrine or one of those sinus sprays is the antidote. If it don't go doown inject it with that stuff. You might ask. Todd

Wessy, I would take her words as nothing more than confidence in her ability to provide you with the wood you desire. The last thing you want is the dose being too large and having that perma-wood when you should be sleeping after your extravaganza. She's a keeper, man. Will be blunt and honest to a degree that you'll find refreshing... if you appreciate that sort of thing. wink

It's been a while since I laughed so hard...Some of the guys on this forum belong in a monkey cage--lol...Then I remembered my 1st "big shot"..My RO told me that I wouldn't be needing viagra anymore and turned me over to a short nurse with a big needle full of lupron...Told my RO that I would rather see a VC with an AK47 than her...I think that we both laughed--at least he did..2 shots left to go hopefully...So guys, it could be worse..

I remember when the Dr. called to tell me about my high PSA. The first thing that went through my mind was "Crud, that gonna mean a lot of shots! Guess I better get used to it." As the biggest baby in the world scared of shots, I can tell you Wessy, it ain't no big deal. As my Uro said when I got my first one, its a prick in the prick, but worth it.
