Hi,
I am not new here. Been here off and on for several years. I do have a question. Before asking, please let me summarize my situation:
Cryosurgery Apr 2006: PSA before 12.6; after (Aug 2006) PSA 0.2 (Gleason 4+3; no evidence of metastasis).
From Aug 2006 to Feb 2012 psa rising to 4.2 (the 4.2 PSA compares to 2.8 PSA in Aug 2011).
May 2012 ...MRI, bone scans, etc....no signs of metastasis. Also, prostate biopsy, negative.
August 2012: PSA drops to 3.5
February 2013: PSA drops to 3.0
Will see my urologist in April.
Raising my intake of Vitamin D from 2,000 IU's daily to 5,000 IU's daily (and religiously) coincides with the significant drop in PSA.

Ok, let me add; I have NOT had a testosterone test BUT, I am certain that I still have a lot of "T" in my system as I have had no loss in libido (of course, I am impotent without Viagra), no body hair loss, no loss in energy, no increasing muscle flab. no mood swings, no growing breasts, etc.). Perhaps the 4.2 test a year ago was wrong and maybe that is coupled with an actual benefit of increasing my Vitamin D intake. I feel great, no bone pain, no anything. Should I just be happy that, at least for awhile, I may actually be experiencing some remission or should I just be skeptical? Any opinion would be welcomed!
