T'was 2 incredibly quick years ago today that I had my date with the robot. Am happy to report that my psa remain undetectable. The couch potato that was me before surgery is gone. I run a few miles a few times a week, and the only time I dribble is when doing sit ups. Go figure. I feel better now than I did 10 years ago.

I know there are many lurkers out here, as I was once as well. I hope that these few words lessen the anxiety of your diagnosis. Sadly, there are some people here whose diseases are exponentially worse, and they get my prayers daily. I hope that seeing the occasional good news helps them.

This little slap in the face that was my PC helped me to appreciate what I have and to take little for granted.

Purg, I still check in daily to see how you are getting along. Keep fighting brother (except with each other. This forum was nuts a few weeks ago!).

Congrats to you, brother.
Just goes to show you, the surgeon had something to do with it
but you also need to change your lifestyle, Ex: Exercise, to
keep the beast away.

You raise a good point that bears emphasizing once in a while: a PCa diagnosis is just the kind of "slap in the face" that a lot of us need sometimes just to get us exercising, eating right, getting regular check-ups, etc., for our own good.

GTOdave, What a great report. Yep for those of us that have had a fairly easy recovery it is a wakeup call to all of us. For me it was "Enjoy every day as if it were you last. Enjoy your friends and your family. I have followed that theme for 4 years and I am a very lucky man!"

Mine is an 06, last year ever for a Pontiac GTO! And unlike the classics, mine loves the twisties.

Dave, I sold a '66 GTO convertible recently. Purchased a 2012 Challenger 6.4 Hemi, 6 sp manual. It loves the twisties as well!! Something none of classics every did! Talk about GFMPH!!
