I just got in touch with JNF (he sent me wrong phone number) and we are most certainly in for tomorrow night. Jack will be calling you later to get the details and set up our meeting in Atlanta. Warning we are having a record cold March in the South. Tomorrow night it will be in the low 30's or high 20's and the highs tomorrow and Wednesday in the 40's or low 50's with a cold wind. It was 30 here this morning in Birmingham and maybe 28 tonight. Dress like you are in Washington.

Todd, I hope you like hunting, we are going groundhog hunting tonight for the road kill stew in Baton Rouge GFMPH in 3 weeks. Going to teach those dang ground hogs a lesson about lying about the coming of spring.

I am staying with JNF tonight in Atlanta. I will be doing my best to convince him and Mrs. JNF to come to GFMPH in BR next month. I will be doing some arm twisting and may resort to spam email threats, if you know what I mean. JNF is a definitely GFMPH Gathering material, but  then again who isn't?

Todd make them suffer, the temp in Atlanta in the morning is predicted to be 28, brrrr that's too dang cold for the end of March in this part of the country.

Sonny got back to warm Orlando and wont leave until it hits 80 here again.

going to be 26 tonight in sc. guess I won't be able to come, still can't get a hold of any of the hw brothers nearby, and my wife can not take the time off. hope the rest of you have a great time

Hotlanta......ain't hot today, but it will heat up when Rockstar Todd hits the city limits. A small in number, but large in intensity, group will be breaking bread this evening preparing Todd for his big day at Dendreon tomorrow.

We hope to file a report complete with (edited) pictures so those who couldn't attend will still enjoy the evening.

Todd, my experience is that it is usually closer to 98.6 where the sun don't shine!

I just spent the evening with two amazing H/W brothers from the south. Jack and Terry.... thank you for a very memorable evening. I enjoyed your company and the food was delicious. You are both true southern gentlemen and it was a privilege hanging out and laughing with you. Thank you very much..... Todd

Whenever you get two or more HW guys or galls together magic happens, tonight was one of those magical night's . Todd and JNF and I are now friends for life. I wish more of us could all meet sometime to create more of this magic, it is so GFMPH.

A great evening with two great friends. I am very glad we could make it happen. Much of our conversation was about so many of the group that are currently having trouble. I hope everyone felt the concern and possitive vibes we tried to send.

As an additional note.....Todd is no longer a virgin........he had his first Martini. Amazing what peer pressure can do.

thanks todd, i would have met your halfway as a compromise if you had time, Commerce GA on I-85 is about the halfway point for me. Perhaps if you ever come back this way.

so they got you to drink? or did he mean just a martini? i have passed the 40 year mark of zero drinking, i was a terrible violent person in my drinking days, has never been an issue since, don't miss it. though my dear wife loves her nightly wine, she just doesn't like the hard stuff

so glad it worked out so well for you

I am back home in Alabama after the fantastic meeting last night with Todd and JNF in Atlanta.  It was so awesome and enriching and I am so energized, almost enough to carry me to the BR GFMPH. JNF lives north of Atlanta (almost in SC) and he and his wife opened up their home for me to stay after dinner last night. Jack and I drank a whole bottle of a super good super Tuscan red wine and talked into the wee hours of the morning. Jack is  good GFMPH material for sure.

Todd is such a great guy with a story that should inspire anyone who ever thinks they have hit rock bottom.  We talked about our big GFMPH gatherings and both Todd and Jack asked what they were like. I told them both, take the fun and camaraderie we had last night and multiply it by 10 or 20 and you have GFMPH a gathering. After saying that Todd is now thinking about joining our GFMPH Cruise in December as his wife has always wanted to do a cruise. Jack and I talked to his wife about letting him attend GFMPH in Baton Rouge next month and she said yes provided he gets a major back yard project finished. So we may have to send Jack some help for his back yard, but I plan on driving down to BR with him in my car. I told him about what it took to convince my wife the first time I went to a. GFMPH.
