The mystery continues. My groin surgery scheduled for the morning has been cancelled by mutual agreement with my urologist. Two weeks ago, the lump as solid and large enough to convince my uro to have it removed and tested. Over the past 3 days, its simply disappeared, all together.
Odd, considering it was visible and the same size for 2 years. Then barely a month or so ago, it suddenly grew huge and bled for several days. Now it's not there, not a trace. Is it possible that it's still there, but retracted into the flesh in my groin? Several investigations come up with no lump now. Makes no sense to me, but happy I don't need an operation that isn't needed.
Possible it may grow back or re-appear at some point, then the doctor said we will consider what to do at that time, if it does.
My body does strange things at times, that make no sense. Glad I am not going under the knife in the morning, but truly baffled how something that large would simply disappear in a few days, last time I felt it, during the weekend, it was still about the size of a dime in diameter, and perhaps as thick as 3 dimes, now - nothing.
Oh well, that will save Medicare some money, and will wait and see what happens next.
