Good grief David. I had been skipping over this thread as I thought that it was just people responding to your cancelled surgery. When I saw you were the last poster this morning I decided to take a gander.

I guess I am back to wishing you good luck with the surgery. It will be very interesting to see what that crafty little thing in your groin is. On reading that, I think I should change it to "crafty lump". Less chance for misconstruing my meaning. devil

Seriously though, I hope it all goes well and the lump is nothing to worry about once looked at under a microscope.

I simply wished I had left the surgery scheduled as it were. Just felt foolish when the lump seemingly disappeared for those 3 days prior, didn't want to be on the OR table and my surgeon saying, what the fudge. Thought I did the right thing by cancelling, oh well, not that big a deal in getting it rescheduled when Monday comes around.

For sure. You did the right thing getting it scheduled in the first place. You were prudent in cancelling and now you are doing the right thing rescheduling

Look, as a tournament poker player, I often fold and often had I stayed I would have gotten a big hand. Nevertheless, as long as I made the right play, I have no qualms.

Think we are agreeing, Mel, unless I missed something there. Feel that cancelling was the correct step at the time, little did I know that this unpleasant lump would suddenly reappear.

I am so happy for you that your surgery has been cancelled and that you avoid prep, checkin in, IV's, anesthesiologist, surgeons, getting wheeled into OR, getting cut, recovery room and then recovery. You, if anyone on this site, deserved something good and it appears you got it.
