Michael was admitted to the hospital on ft Bragg yesterday. It appears he has had several mini strokes but they are still testing. He has limited use of the leftside of his body. He is 42 years old

Susan, I simply don't know what you say except that you and Michael will certainly be in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself, and know that we're here when you need us.

Susan - and Michael - so sorry to hear the news - recovery from "mini-strokes" can be amazing (my Dad had several over the years) - you are in our thoughts and prayers for a full recovery - hugs, Bronson (and Steve)

So very to hear this Susan - but have faith. My father went through a couple of "mini-strokes" at age 76 and he pulled out fine. Michael has his young age going for him - as well as the thoughts and prayers of so many here, including me. Added to my prayer chain for sure......

Susan, what incredibly sad news this is. Hopefully the cause of the mini-strokes will be found and remedied, and left-side function restored. We'll be keeping both of you in our thoughts.

Susan, was stunned to read this news, especially with Michael being so young. Hoping and praying for the very best, please update as you are able to. Will be anxiously awaiting further word.

Thoughts are with you, Susan. Hope the doctors can also find the cause of the mini-strokes once your hubby is in recovery...

You are both in my prayers today.
It not easy to deal with. It's amazing what they can do for strokes these days. Praying the doctors are able to deal with it quickly.

Thank you all for the great thoughts and all your prayers. I am in his room and he has finally been able to fall asleep. They have had 2 neurologist consult and it is definately many mini strokes. All on the rightside of the brain. Now they are trying to figure out what caused it. It is looking like some inflammation of the vein but again don't know why. They are going to do an echocardiogram this afternoon along with multiple boos tests. They have stopped his food and water just incase they need to do any type of procedure.

Prayers are needed and gratefully accepted. Thank you all. Will update when I know more
