seems to be the day for bad news

wow - reading so much bad news today here.

Then I go to read my email and find that a friend of mine and fellow marquetarian passed away on Sunday morning after a two year fight with cancer. He beat PC then got esophageal cancer. He did everything medicine provides, surgery, radiation, chemo. We got the news two weeks ago that he'd given up on chemo and entered hospice care. He didn't last long.

Now is a time to hold and support one another.

Andrew, so sorry to read of the death of your friend.

And yes, today seems to be a bad news day. Lets hope that this is the last piece of bad news we'll hear, and that Mrs. WW and Susan will come back and give us some good news, and that Davidg will find some time to keep us posted on his mom.

My thoughts are with all who are suffering in the healing well family today and know our collective and different strengths will help all thru times such as these.

Your are certainly right, it does seem that we have had our share of not so good news in the last couple of days.

Losing a valued friend is truly tough and my heart goes out to you and his family.

This is when we come together as an extended family of sorts and lend support to our fellow man.

Andrew, deep sorrow for the loss of your friend, I hate all cancers, there's no such thing as a good one. You have had more than your share of grief and problems, please take good care of your self too.

Thanks for all the comments. It was strange to see him go through this. At first it seemed like it was going fine. He did radiation and seemed to recover, then things did go so well and he started chemo.

Odd how life happens. I had thought it a rare cancer now I know of at least three men that have it.
