I think this subject has come up before but I can`t locate it.
A very good friend of mine has recently been diagnosed with cancer of the lower colon and rectum. He had a biopsy about 21/2 years ago about the same time as mine. He was dx`d Gleason 7 ( 3+4) PSA 10.7. He has been doing well (PSA <.1) after a DiVinci proceedure.
Is there any evidence that removing the cores containing cancer cells can spread the cancer to the colon and rectum as the needles are withdrawn? It seems to me that it may be possible but rare.
