Good News

Had a biopsy done on lymph nodes in my chest on Monday that had "lit up" from a PET scan I had done 2 weeks ago.  Doctors felt it was highly unlikely that it had anything to do with with PCa Dx, but wanted to make sure.  Well...NO CANCER in my chest!  Was very relieved about this as you might imagine.

I now get to go back to concentrating on my Pca, as this chest thing put everything with that on hold.  I'm meeting with a new urologist next week and have narrowed my choices down to BT or SBRT.

I felt like I won the lottery (although my chest feels like Mike Tyson hit me) on Monday and hope to keep this good roll going through my PCa treatment. 

Thought a little good news was in order today!

I do know how you feel, that is great great news. You'll do great with BT or SBRT.

Great news Mike, now that that's out of your way you can go back to your journey on deciding on a treatment. IMHO you continue to impress by the amount of research, including visits with the medical community, that you are doing - well done! You'll do fine with either BT or SBRT - just remember that when you meet with these folks that you ask them to share with you their specific treatment outcomes and results - chance of recurrence, continency (and what does 'continent' mean to them), ED and so on.

Really excellent!! Good news is always welcomed here---now go out and kill the beasties..brach + rads or sbrt alone are excellent choices. All the best to you in your fight.
