(No Subject)

Have been away for awhile.. Had skin cancer surgery back in Feb of this year Squamous cell and had it removed
Anyway Hi again, This forum is very helpful and great full for your participation. I have not had any other such occurrences that I know of. Wanted to ask if any of you have had experience with post recurrences, and the reason I am asking is that I have a lump or raised area on my shin same leg as other cancer and seems to be growing , however no break in skin, a little tender , but very little pain right now. It's located lower portion of
shin. My cancer was on my calf in upper portion of same leg. Have not went to Dr yet I am due in in August again for routine. Any ideas or suggestions. There is no bruising or discoloration . Thanks again Al ( I am troubled with the prospects of a tumor or bone cancer and I don't even know what I am talking about.

Folks, Inpower was here last year and had a prostate biopsy (negative). Here's his post just to bring you up to speed on his situation: "Negative results from biopsy. Doctor says nothing to do for a year. Then another PSA TEST great news !! Thought something else triggered the rise in psa levels as I originally thought. Anyway its done its done for now. Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and suggestions , its really a treasure having a forum like this. Thanks again and will be in touch."

Inpower, I'm not so sure you'll get much information here about skin cancer recurrence. If you have any concerns about possible recurrence, best to check with your dermatologist.
