I edited this to change the subject line to better reflect my story. My original subject line was "Had a Great Father's Day". Sorry in advance about the long post but here I go:
At the end of this month, it will have been 18 months since RALP. My first Trimix injection was on May 1, 2012 and it didn’t go good. I injected the 25 unit dose set up by my uro in his office, went home, and called the doctor after 6 hours because I woke up and still had an erection. It went down on my way to his office, but boy that was close. That is when I started keeping a record on an Excell spreadsheet of every sex attempt and that May 1st injection was first entry. I didn’t record the information from my first Alprostadil shot. That shot hurt like hell so I want to forget it. Well, my next injection was at 8 units and my dosage still continued down where I settled at 3-4 units for the longest time. For the last several months I’ve been shooting a soft 2 units. By soft I mean I’m just under 2 units. Trimix has been good to me after 110 shots but I do want to get off it. I don’t like those surprise prolonged erections that linger on and I’m stuck watching tv in the bedroom for an hour after sex.
I’ve been attempting pill only sex with limited success. My fist successful attempt was on Jan. 2013 when I had a good build up of cialis and one night I topped it off with a full 20 mg dose of lavitra. It worked but I don’t like having that much drug in my system. I’ve made several pill attempts since then but always depended on the trimix for a really good time. With the pills I would lose wood if I laid down. To keep it up I had to stay standing up. This caused a lot of anxiety during sex worrying if I could keep the woody. During the previous month of May I injected 8 times with 2 units of trimix with great success and made 4 pill attempts with some success.
On June 5th we went to Oceanside, Ca and stayed in a 2 bedroom suite at the Wyndam at the Oceanside Pier with our teenage grandson, the wife’s twin sister and her husband. We had the master bedroom to ourselves but we only got into sex early one morning with residual Cialis in my system. Too many people around for my wife’s taste. I was taking low doses of Cialis almost every night for rehab purposes for the first part of the trip but gave it up towards the end. It does cause some issues for me that I don’t like but usually tolerate. Cialis gives me good nocturnal erections and good morning sex when we have it. It is a whole lot harder to get it up at night for me.
We got home on June 14th from California tired and worn out. The following evening I drank a 3 oz martini and took a full 20 mg dose of lavitra on a hungry and empty stomach with no Cialis in my system because I stopped the cialis three or four days before. Willy came to life and worked great with no worry on my part at all. On Father’s day the next morning after walking the dog and cutting the grass I performed again taking nothing. That evening I took a 10mg dose of lavitra on a satisfied stomach with good success again. I had eaten a late lunch about two or three hours earlier. I cannot say my stomach was empty or full. It looks like I’m a text book case of someone who starts off with a severe case of ED who after 18 months recovers to the point of being a good pill responder. It was a great father’s day gift for me.
I not trying to brag. I know many of you are out there hoping for similar results. I’m just trying to give you hope because it happened to me.
As a coincidence and as a funny aside, 17 days before my RALP 18 months ago, I got a love letter from the State of Arizona Department of Revenue because I took a deduction I was allowed to take for taking care of my Mother in Law because she had Alzheimer’s. I had to quickly gather the documentation to prove the deductions was legal before surgery. They quickly granted the mother in law deduction because I was right to take it. But they just threw out all of my business deductions, and said I would have to prove all of them. This is the thanks I got from the state of Arizona for taking care of an elderly mother in law for over five years. It would have cost the government 35k per year if we simply put her in a home. She only made $750 per month on SS. So I saved these idiots over 100k over five years doing this good deed that started my audit. To prove my deductions I had my tax lady take down a couple of thousand receipts because I didn't want to spend a week copying several thousand of them. This audit took so long because I was incontinent for four months recovering from RALP and didn’t like going out in public. The state auditor had a personal family crisis and took a long leave of absence, and my tax lady is a good procrastinator . WHILE WRITING this long post, I checked on my mail because the Post Office has been holding our mail since we left and it just came in. In the mail we have a settlement letter that says we owe $237 in back taxes, penalties and interest. That is about 1/20th of what they claimed we owed. I know I don’t even owe them this but I’m going to pay it to get them off my back. I’m finally getting closure on two serious issues I’ve been dealing with for 18 months.
WHAT A JOURNEY IT HAS BEEN.
YIPPEE and sorry again about the long post.
