well today was my first shots of degralix........first dose is one shot each side 120mls.Got mine in the uk but then travelled back to Ireland where I spend most of my life now.I did this road and ferry trip on my Sports motorbike and the positioning is not belly comfortable so I'm suffering a little this evening. The injection itches like mad to start with and then becomes sore......mine as progressed to a little pain because I was bent over a motorbike tank for most of the day !!!!'not my wisest ever decision to travel back right after the jab lol.So I'd really like to know how long the discomfort and swelling might last for ?????I'd be interested in anyone elses experiences with this drug
Regards Lee.

my first Firmagon injection was impressively uncomfortable for a day or 2. red tender indurated area equal to about
2 hands on lower belly. like 20 wasp stings. subsequent injections were much less annoying.

I've done zolodex aNd degaralex. Degaralex is different. Done 9 shots so far and it's pretty painful each time. The itching usually lasts only a day or two but then the spot of the shot will turn hot and red it will swell a little and then become hard. That lasts about
a week but the severity decreases each day . I've had better luck with shots in my left side than my right. Interestingly, two weeks ago I asked the nurse to spend a few extra seconds stirring the mixture up really really well. The reaction was much less severe. I'll try it again in two weeks. If it works again I may have discovered something
