Latest test results- Still crapola

Got my latest: .22 up from .21, haha Another 4 months of walking around with the sword hanging over my head. Uro says no need to do anything until it increases more, retest in Nov. Benign tissue? extremely slow cancer cell growth? my superpowers body fighting it off? It's still a crap shoot....

So you are about 6 years out from surgery and the PSA is doubling very slowly.18 months or so.
Have your tried a dietary intervention?
Don't know that salvage radiation would help after 6 years.

Sorry to hear the trend is still inching up. Like other posters have mentioned, your doubling time is slow which is good. Plenty of time to consider all options and qol issues.

I too was a G6 and had two small "focal point" margins. When my PSA started inching up (a little faster than yours), the consultations with the docs about BCR actually indicated that the + margins were "good" in the sense that they indicated a higher possibility of PCa cells being in the immediate prostrate bed area which can respond to IMRT treatment well as opposed to an unknown location.

So, early SRT is the path I chose as that fits my lifestyle and decision making processes. In my case, the SRT SE's were minor... No negative effects in ED, maybe a slight increase in stress incontinence (but I hardly ever do my kegal exercises anymore), and any post SRT gas/proctitis/fatigue issues have long since gone. The last couple of years, it has just been great to finally feel I am truly in the "zero" club.
