Cost of Muse $60 a dose

I'm a Kaiser patient. Kaiser charges me $60 per dose for Muse, regardless of dosage amount, and they don't cover any of it.

This seems really high.

Does anyone know of a cheaper reputable online source or even a chain pharmacy source like maybe CVS?

when you say per dose, does that mean for each use? or is one dose spread over several uses? only known a handful of men here that used it or tried to use it.

that is nuts, 60 for one "bang"? and yes, for PC guys, its shameful that ED drugs are not covered for the most part, as its truly part of therapy that any doctor would admit.

One thing to do is to go to a couple of local pharmacies and ask about their cash price. The cash price for some ED drugs at, say, Walmart, is less than the co-pay for some insurance companies that "cover" the drugs.

Of course, when you do you have to run the gauntlet. When I was comparing prices I would ask the middle-aged guy at the counter and he would reliably say "Let me get the Pharmacist's aide for you, she can answer your question." He would go in the back and a vaguely familiar, pretty young girl would come out and say "Hello, Mr. DisAbelard! How's your daughter doing? She hasn't been posting much on Facebook. I guess she's busy, what with the twins and everything. Now, what was your question?"

That is difficult. But doable. Barely.

To change the subject to something easier, have you thought about sticking needles in your member? Your cost of two doses of Muse will buy two months worth of trimix at the cash price most places. You'd have to talk to your doctor but inter-cavernous injections have a much higher success rate than MUSE and if you use trimix they are way cheaper, too.

Before my PC I found that the Costco pharmacy had the best cash pricing on ED drugs like Viagra. 

My URO gave me some samples of Muse to try and those pellets burned like a hot poker up my penis and did nothing for the wood. I was put on Trimix next by him and my local compounding pharmacy sells a 5ml bottle of it for $60. If you use say a .30ml per injection you can get 15-16 doses for the $60. A vial in the freezer has a 4 month shelf life too. Unfortunately not all URO's will prescribe injections for us PC guys so if your Kaiser doc wont do it, you may have to find on who will.
