Morning friends,

I am looking for what you believe to be the best Dr.'s in the St. Louis area for prostate cancer treatment.

Dr. Gerald Andriole did my surgery. He is Chief of Urology at Washington University and works through Barnes-Jewish Hospital and the Siteman Cancer Center. He has an excellent reputation and has an impressive record of research involving prostate cancer.

I grew up in STL and still have a brother there who had radical surgery a couple years ago.

I sent him an email to ask how much research he did (knowing him a lot) and will let you know.

Dr Luis Anglo of the Metropolitan Urological Specialists is a good one for surgery, as is the above mentioned Dr. Andriole.

I am using using Dr. Kathy Baglan for my SBRT treatments in August and she is a top notch radiation oncologist if you're interested in that route.

Hard back from my brother - "I have not done any extensive analysis or evaluation. My surgeon is David Keetch who I respect and have been pleased with."

If I were you, I would go with Kark60's recommendation. Jewish Hospital had a great reputation back in the day when I lived in STL

being fellow missourian (joplin area), i don't know doctor names, but Barnes-Jewish is definitely the place to go in st.louis area. wishing you the BEST
