When hubby has his cystoscopy on Friday, they decided to go ahead and draw for a PSA (he was due for one in a couple of weeks anyway). Got results today. Down from 0.6 to 0.14!!! Not quite in the zero club yet, but heading in the right direction. Maybe the hot flashes, bone aches, etc. are worth it.
Now to get through tomorrow's surgery to open the bladder neck up (he is basically trying to pee through a hole the size of the head of a pin right now). Doc says it should be a very short procedure and he'll only have to wear the catheter until Thursday. Hope that's true as we are to fly to Vegas on Friday morning. Fingers crossed!
