3rd Prostate Cancer Postage Stamp Giveaway

In 1999, the USPS created a 33 cent "Prostate Cancer Awareness" stamp.  It's the only United States stamp ever to include prostate cancer as the subject.  For collectors, such as I, its Scott #3315.

Along the side, it says "Prostate Cancer Awareness" and on the bottom, it says "Annual Checkups and Tests"

I have given away, twice, several groups of these stamps to HW PC members free of charge, including postage to you.

We have gotten so many new members since the last time I did this. So if you are new to HW PC, or if you didn't get one before but wanted one, all you have to do is e-mail me your mailing address.  I have a whole sheet of 20 arriving any day.  There is no cost to you, either for the stamp or for the postage to get it to you.  Consider it just part of my personal PC ministry to you.

As soon as it is mailed, I will safely delete your e-mail and address from my computer.  Both times I have done this, I completely ran out of stamps.  Some members framed theirs, just makes a nice souvenier of our PC journeys.

Let me know as soon as possible if you would like one of these mint 24-year old stamps.

Jim, be happy to send you one, most of the people that took them in the past aren't stamp collectors, they just think its neat because it is PC related and GFMPH.

No, Aimzee, same as before, simply bought another sheet, as we have picked up so many new members since the last time I did this. Will probably do this once a year on a regular basis.

Sure hope Ron has seen some kind of pain improvement.

Again, thank you for the offer and can't wait for my stamp to arrive. As a kid, I did collect stamps (now 62). When I was 17, our home burnt to the ground and we lost Everything!! Since I've been DX with Advance Prostate Caner (last Oct.), would be kinda neat to have the stamp.

I'm also, wanting to do something to raise the awareness of PCa before I leave this world!! As a woodworker, guess I could design something and start to work!!

Aimzee - yes, I have seen the Christmas ornaments for both PC and BC, don't have either. Hope Ron
had a better weekend. I know I didn't. Couldn't go on a family type weekend retreat to a lake cottage, due to high temps here and lack of a/c at the cottage. So I stayed home by myself all weekend, not a lot of fun.

Everything ready to take to post office in the morning, still a few left if anyone is interested.

Brought back good memories of breaking up the sheet of stamps. Don't be surprised if you see really old stamps on the envelopes, I have so many tons of ancient US stamps to use up, that have no collector value.
