New psa numbers for august 1st 2013. 22.25. I was late for my lupron by a month but I still had my shot 2 weeks ago. Looks like a change in treatment is in my future. Todd

It is too early yet. Retest PSA in some 30 days. Wish you a more favorable outcome!

Change can be good.

Zytiga, Ztandi, trials, changes in sequencing, re-introduce bicalutamide, etc. Much to do, my friend.

Well sorry to hear that Todd, but like Tony says, on to the next thing. A lot of us are on that ride with you my friend and you have been out in front on some of the treatments. Keep us posted.

Really sorry to hear that, Todd.

Words fail me and, frankly, there are a few tears in my eyes as I type this. But I have to shake my head and shout "NO!" because I just know that you will fight and fight and fight; you will find the treatment that kicks prostate cancer's butt and takes it lunch money.

Todd its a tough blow. When we are at our weakest, relax into it and let the true strength have the rudder. Not just purty words. Your journey puts the forum into it's true perspective. You are already healed in the only way that truly matters. All things end in time, the beginning is beyond time ,science is shouting this in so many ways. Todd, all I can say is Crap!!! But you are a fighter and the beast will not defeat you my friend. Considering where you started 22 is not a bad number. I know some advanced guys have done more than one round of Provenge is this a possibility? Call me over the weekend and lets catch up on things.

Todd, for what it's worth I was 6 wks late for my shot(by choice)& low & behold, in 40 days mine went to .2 iam getting a 4 wk retest next week& if rise continues its back on the crap... Again. Hopefully your last shot will bring it back down. You are our hero here. Hang in there captain.

Well, maybe that actually did make some kind of a difference and this is being reflected in the 22+ PSA. Who knows? It's possible!

Heaven knows this prostate cancer thing has got more twists to it than a bag full of pretzels, and just one apparent setback, such as that higher PSA, can't be taken as a sign of some beginning and inevitable downward slide. There are just too many good things that can still happen for you at this point.

You just keep hanging in there, and of course you know that you've got a stadium full of rock star fans here still cheering you on!

I was under the impression that Provenge wasn't monitored by PSA?

Regardless, lots of strings in the closet when one breaks on the guitar. You'll be playing with all 6 again real soon...
