Blood draw for PSA yesterday, 8/5. If it comes back undetectable this will be my 2nd anniversary! So the wait begins...

And for the record (and those who have recently had surgery) it took right at six month after surgery but at that point I was fully continent again and remain so today, and the ED continues to get better - I'd estimate 85 to 90% of pre-surgery, with some noticeable improvement just recently. So I guess the message is to try and be patient, this stuff takes awhile! smilewinkgrin

Great news on your recovery these past two years, it will be of great encouragement to others who are following after you.
When you get that big fat ZERO result in, mine is a large G&T please.

Great news and the Zero Club membership committee really hates all the paperwork that they have to process when one of us leaves the club.

BTW my RALP was 26 months ago and I have noticed my ED is improving somewhat I even think a couple of nights ago I got some partial nocturnal wood yeah

Knowing full well it is what it is, and the mental gymnastics do nothing but keep the topic on my mind. You'd think as time passes a person would get a little more hardened (no pun intended) but it's the same every time. Ah well, I still consider myself blessed.

The longer you're undetectable the better you're chances are that this is it and no further treatment will be needed. There are no absolutes, unfortunately, but you have done well so far. Like you, I still agonize every PSA. All part of the journey I guess.

To add one more thought, this forum has really been extremely valuable to me. Thanks to the "regulars" who greet us, help with answers to common questions (that they probably hear endlessly) and just give us support and reassurance, the journey is much easier than that of those who never find this place.

I've recommended this forum to several folks, often referred by my wife who wears the blue bracelet and interacts with the public daily in a retail setting. Not sure if they ever visit, but at least they are offered the resource.

Whoooooohoooooo! Don't you love hearing "undetectable" after having your PSA tested and waiting for the results? Membership in the Zero Club has been renewed. Good luck in the future, I am a year behind you.
