14 weeks post surgery still incontient but better

 PSA at 3 months mark came in at less than .1  which is just what the Dr said it would be.  Incontinence  is better every week  mostly stress leaks now and down to one tena pad a day. There for a while  I saw no progress at all.    Been a frustrating  3 months  in that I started  with total incontinence, absolutely no control unless sitting or laying. It took 5 weeks to finally have some  left to make the restroom.  Still have ED, just started 5mg Cialis 2 weeks ago.  I look at this forum daily and  my thoughts and prayers are with each of you who fight this fight.  Thanks to each of you for all the posts, the moderators, and the information  I have gleamed from this site.

..Good to hear from you Steve. I am 15 weeks out today so we are close in time in regards to surgery. Incontinence drove me mad for 8 weeks and then it just turned around. ED is well another issue. I am also on 5 mg of Cialis and I went to see Dr Mulhall at MSK for trimix injections. It is a weird thing but also enjoyable if you have a partner to share it with, and I do. I am doing adjunctive therapy's cause of my stats but trying to remain as normal as possible..

Excellent news on the zero Steve!

Don't get discouraged on the incontinence. I am 12 weeks post-op and, while I improved much more rapidly than you did in the initial weeks, I then plateaued at 3 pads per day for quite a while before quickly improving to just one pad per day consistently for the past month or so, which now seems to be another plateau with some days nearly dry and others more leaky (just drips but lots of them).

Steve, I think you're showing great progress with the incontinence issue. Improvement is often seen in small increments, and at 3 months you're looking good. Also, congratulations on the PSA number.

Be patient with the ED issues. The nerves have been jostled, heated up, and otherwise disturbed. They don't like that, and it takes time for them to recover.
