After three flushes and one procedure the only thing that
opens my catheter is clot blocker but that is only for a short time as I have over active platelets. Will I have to get a new catheter or is there another option that one of you Guys know of. I really don't want to go through that pain again . . . Q

While I have the experience with provenge I didn't need the cath. Wish I could help you with that. I got some inexperienced nurses or so they seemed on my last infusion and that was no fun. After 5 or 6 sticks they got the IV going. Good luck.

Yah Kurt,
after seven years of blood draws my veins have too much scar tissue to take the big gauge needles. Sure hope this works this time . . . Q
