A study available on the Prostate Cancer Infolink:
"Living with Prostate Cancer: the Emotional and Physical Effects on Patients and Caregivers"
prostatecancerinfolink.net/2013/09/26/living-with-prostate-cancer-the-emotional-and-physical-effects-on-patients-and-caregivers/#more-18618A lot in this study we already know, but what's interesting in it is the percentages given for how people feel about
certain issues.
For example:
"35 percent of patients said there is too much information available about
prostate cancer to understand it all (and) 47 percent of caregivers agreed."
"73 percent of caregivers have days when they feel overwhelmed."
"17 percent of respondents reported that they are currently living with another cancer diagnosis in addition to prostate cancer."
"41 percent of patients do not feel like people understand what they are going through."
Yes, percentages to be expected, but still an interesting read.
