hi guys,

 I don't know how to say this so I just will. last night while showering I was washing my privates and thought this feels like it used to so I washed a little more and sure enough it grew I quit right away because of the cath and not seeing the doc until tomorrow. anyway last night it grew by itself (quite a bit)in my sleep and woke my up with a pain I don't know if it was because of it pulling on the cath or just the nerves down there (I was in a pretty sound sleep). anyway am I correct in assuming this is a good sign?

You are assuming correctly.  Any type of "growth" at your stage is definitely something to celebrate.  It took me almost 6 months to see any type of response.  Thankfully I am fully functional, even without meds, at the this point but I would say you are well ahead of the game.  Best of luck in your continued recovery.

Indeed, that's great. I'm at 5.5 months, and only recently started getting a small response with meds. (My wife is my best friend. Bimix is a close second :-).)

Do note that Dr. Mulhall writes in his book that the low point for post-surgery ED is around 2-3 months. So, in some folks (hopefully not you), issues will increase for awhile before they disappear.

Yes it is a good sign that you will eventually recover potency. It shows that the nerves are still hooked up and working, at least somewhat. One thing that is worth mentioning is that your ED may get worse for a month or two before it starts getting better. Don't let that throw you if it happens.

Oh, and I doubt that the pain is significant. One week out stuff just hurts from time to time on general principles.
