HW depresses me when I read posts from some of our PCa veterans that are facing challenges. HW depresses me when we lose a brother - Our Bud certainly still hits my heart to this day. This is when things changed for me. I was posting regularly for two years after Ron's surgery. Much like Yooper, after about 4 months he was doing well. He had his prostate removed; no HT, chemo, radiation, etc. His PSA has been a consistent 0.01 and we hope to one day truly believe he is cured. But nothing is taken for granted. When Bud passed away, I was extremely depressed and slowly backed off from this forum.
I return to check up on the guys still posting here. Most have posted on this thread, except for one friend. Like I told Ron, getting close to someone with this disease can be so hurtful. When David introduces a question/answer thread, I will respond! That's how you found out we have been to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 48 times! I will never totally leave the forum as I do care and pray for all. Plus, there are so many kind women posting here.
(Yooper, Ron was born and raised in Menominee. He understands exactly what you're talking about.)
Peace,
Aimzee
