It has been almost four months and I find my penis still aches at times but not like the pain I first had the first couple of months after my surgery. Throw in a coffee or a couple of beers and it is me and the washroom. Family doctor feels it is all in my head ( no pun intended). I have my psa test next week and see the uro after that. Has anyone had the Same type ache this long after surgery. My family doctor told me I am early in the process and it could take up to a year to feel better.

It's not unusual. But it's not a particularly 'good' thing either. Do you notice the ache more some times of day than others? When your bladder is full? Or after you pee? Lots of times that 'ache' is referred pain from the bladder neck which is still irritated from the surgery.
