Listen for high pitched noises coming from machanical joints. tongue   They are only machines that run 8hrs a day, 5 days a week.

Hope he rest of the treatments are uneventful....

Day 10, same as day 1.....Uneventful.

Usual Monday meeting with RO. Although he gave me a script for the little blue pill. He wants me to take 25 mg a day for preventive measures.

By about the 15th day, I was getting little bored with the process and then start to do things like, "Yesterday I put my cloths in locker A. Today I'll use locker B." and "I'll use changing room number 3 today instead of number 2." Then I worked out a way to stow my cloths in the locker that allowed me to get dressed faster.

Then I noticed that the parking lot had about 40 different places I could park in.

It was getting very interesting by the end of treatments...

Tud, boring is A OK with me.

Andrew, lockers are red, blue, green, yellow.
Changing room 1 or 2.
Parking is in the hundreds.
I am with you on this.

Boring is really good. We want NO excitement with big honkin' radiation machines!

Vandy's system had no lockers, no changes, very quick and simple. Drop trou, lay down, get zapped, pull up trou, leave. Pretty slick.

When I started my radiation I put 28 20 oz bottles of Gatoraide in my trunk. Every day when I would get in the car to drive to the center I would pull one out. That was enough difference for me. Every day there was one fewer bottle in the trunk.

Boring is good, indeed.

I hope it stays "uneventful" Monday I will receive #18, my halfway point hoping after this is all over my fatigue and the feeling that my diet may have consisted of broken glass is gone I will be happy.

Peter I was going to take your suggestion and put my water in the trunk until I seen the weather report, difficult at best to drink a bottle of ice. lol.

Yes, I can see the problem. And if you put a bit of "anti-freeze" in each bottle you would risk getting a DUI on your drive.

It's pretty easy-peasy. I had 35v treatment and towards the end, the urgency to pee was pretty Intense. Due to my size, I had to drink 32 oz of water 1 hour before each treatment. On about number 25, the stupid machine reset which caused a "clean up on isle 1"

Steven, looks like your 5 days ahead of me, I had # 13 today. I hope you and I both continue downn the uneventfull path.

Although I go for a Total of 45 treatments. I have no idea why the difference?

Nuclear, the reason I am only getting 25 is because I had HDR brachy prior to the IMRT. I agree with you, uneventful is GOOD!
